Located on the historic Treasure Island, you can’t get a better backdrop for a festival as is the skyline of San Francisco.

Noise Pop and Another Planet Entertainment are excited to announce the full music lineup for the tenth annual Treasure Island Music Festival (TIMF) to be held October 15-16 in San Francisco on the historic Treasure Island. This will be the last year on the Island before relocating in 2017.

The Festival will continue for years to come in another location to be named at a later date, but TIMF is inviting music fans to come bid farewell to the island with another amazing celebration that will light up the Bay Area one final time from the island. Two-Day GA and VIP tickets will go on sale this Thursday, June 16 at 10 a.m. (PT) at

Since it’s inception in 2007, the Festival has brought attendees an eclectic mix of music performances with no overlapping sets, and this year continues that tradition. Internationally renowned Icelandic rock group Sigur Rós, who are in the midst of the band’s most intimate tour in a decade that features stripped down string and brass sections and new music, are set to headline, as well as West Coast hip-hop royalty Ice Cube, who will perform on stage at TIMF alongside fellow N.W.A. members MC Ren and DJ Yella. N.W.A. was just inducted this April into The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.

TIMF 2016 will also welcome a variety of international acts including English singer-songwriter James Blake, who will be performing in support of his recent album, The Colour in Anything, released to critical acclaim this May; Canadian electronica duo Purity Ring; UK-based Glass Animals, who are also releasing their sophomore album, How To Be A Human Being, later this summer; EDM pioneer Duke Dumont; UK rapper Stormzy; multi-instrumentalist producer Mura Masa; Spanish indie rockers Hinds; and the English electronic-soul duo HONNE, who are releasing their debut album, Warm On A Cold Night, this July.

Given the close proximity to SF and Oakland finding accommodations will not be hard.

There are hundreds of Hotel options in both cities, as well as anywhere in the bay area. If you are looking for a cheaper option, we recommend AirBnB.

Treasure Island is not a big island, so parking will be an issue. We do not recommend trying to park on the island. Rather, the festival offers free shuttles from Bill Graham Civic center. There is also a separate “island parking pass” that can be purchased for $40 a day. We say skip that charge, and make new friends on the shuttle!
