Glastonbury 2017 lineup rumor speculation is no doubt one of my favorite water cooler conversations. With the festival fast approaching on June 21-25 2017, the rumor mill is going wild for the latest crop of headliners.
Although tickets are no longer available, the second-hand market is as strong as ever. With amazing possible headliners, this is no coincidence. I’ll see you all in the swamp!
Here are the Glastonbury lineup rumors 2017! These are all hopefully for us Glastonbury loyalists. Lineup odds for 3017 are included here as well.
This is not exactly a rumor, as they have confirmed that they will headline Friday 2017! More info on their announcement here.
Coming off their 2016 release of A Moon Shaped Pool, this will be a great addition to the 2017 Lineup.
2: Guns n’ Roses.
Guns n’ Roses played quite a few festivals in 2016, including a headlining gig at Coachella. There is no doubt they are just out for the $$$, so Glastonbury would be a great option to collect some more money for the band.
The boys from Leicester, might make a Glastonbury comeback like the famous Leicester City FC. Although they do not have an album out, there have been quite a few rumors circling after their short May tour.
4: Green Day.
Green Day has been back in their old form with the release of Revolution Radio. A return to their political punk rock has fans fighting for more live performances. Let’s see if they come through!
5: Daft Punk.
It wouldn’t be a rumor list without Daft Punk as a possible headliner. There isn’t any basis for them playing other than the music world would be on fire if they were to do so.
6: Ed Sheeran.
Everyone’s favorite ginger singer-songwriter hasn’t played any huge festivals, but this could be the year. While a non-traditional Glastonbury act, it would surely be a unique and memorable performance.
The band has released two e-books “The Book of Noodle” and “The Book of Russell”. Both have spurred speculation that they are set to release actual music (not just art). Let’s hope they can get back to Glastonbury to blow our minds again.
8: Beyonce / Rihanna
Kraftwork is finishing up a tour in the area the day before. I’m sure they can find some time to make it out to the farm.
10: Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is dropping a new Album in 2017. A Glastonbury stop would be the perfect way to kick off a bit festival season for the New York Pop Anti-Princess.
Well that’s the list. Let me know if you agree or not in the comments!
